What other accommodation options exist?
A growing number of residential and nursing care homes are aware of the needs of people who are visually impaired. Contact your local Social Services for details of the care homes available in your area.
Henshaws Society for Blind People provides Community Housing in Manchester, Gateshead and Harrogate for blind and visually impaired adults.
SeeAbility, RNIB, St. Dunstan's, Thomas Pocklington Trust and the Wilberforce Trust all provide specialist accommodation for blind and visually impaired people.
