How can I get to the hospital?
A GP can arrange and pay for transport for a hospital appointment, whether you are visually impaired or not. If a person is registered blind or partially sighted, they can also use the Mobility component of their Attendance Allowance / Disability Living Allowance for the hospital visit. Taxi vouchers are also available for people who are registered blind or partially sighted.
